My name is Marley. I am a student at Laurel School. For my Capstone Project, I am creating a Laurel Cookbook to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
My Capstone Project
My project consists of publishing a cookbook featuring recipes submitted by you, the Laurel Community.
I invite members of the Laurel community, including students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, to submit their favorite family recipes for publication.
Share Your Cherished Family Recipes
Please go to the Share Recipe page and upload your favorite family recipes. Please include a description of why this recipe is so special to your family. Was it a dish served at family holidays and celebrations? Does it remind you of your childhood? Also include the history of the recipe if it was passed down through the generations, etc.
Help Cure Parkinson's Disease
For years, I watched my grandfather suffer with Parkinson’s Disease and it made me want to help find a cure for this terrible illness that affects so many families. I am doing this project in memory of my grandfather.
All of the profits from my cookbook will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to fund research to find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
