About The Laurel Cookbook
My name is Marley. I am a student at Laurel School. For my Capstone Project, I created a Laurel Cookbook to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
Help Cure Parkinson's Disease
For years, I watched my grandfather suffer with Parkinson’s Disease and it made me want to help find a cure for this terrible illness that affects so many families. I am doing this project in memory of my grandfather.
All of the profits from my cookbook will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to fund research to find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
My Capstone Project
My project consists of publishing a cookbook featuring recipes submitted by you, the Laurel Community.
I invited members of the Laurel community, including students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, to submit their favorite family recipes for publication. A big thank you to all who answered the call.

Your friends in the Laurel School Community made this cookbook possible by sharing their treasured family recipes. Now you can finally enjoy these delicious dishes, along with the stories behind them.
Each contributor has shared what makes their dish so special to their family. For some, it is a dish served at family holidays and celebrations Others told of foods that remind them of their childhood. Many of these recipe have been passed down through the generations.
